In 2017 Aims Design implemented Google Tag Manager on its public website as its primary Tag Management solution to centralize client side tag deployment and event instrumentation. The deployment centers on a single Google Tag Manager container embedded across the site, managed through container workspaces and versioned publishes to control changes and rollbacks, with access scoped to the small internal web and marketing team.
Google Tag Manager is used to configure tags, triggers, and variables and to surface a site level dataLayer for event capture and attribution workflows, enabling orchestration of analytics and marketing tags without code changes to page templates. Governance is implemented through container versioning and role based access inside Google Tag Manager, aligning web operations and marketing processes for consolidated tag lifecycle management on the Hong Kong site.
