In 2024, Aimtron Corporation implemented Epicor Kinetic, upgrading from Epicor ERP 10 to consolidate operations across its U.S. and Indian legal entities. Epicor Kinetic was deployed as a Manufacturing ERP to unify finance, production, procurement, quality, dispatch, and supply chain planning, addressing the companys siloed applications and the need for a single consolidated view of the business.
The deployment focused on core manufacturing modules including production management, inventory control, procurement, quality management, dispatch, and finance, with 15 concurrent users across merchandising, procurement, production, quality, dispatch, and finance. Configuration leveraged Epicor forms, alerts, automated workflows, and built in training modules to capture data from multiple in-house applications, enable knowledge database creation, and speed user onboarding and daily operations.
Aimtron integrated many in-house applications into Epicor Kinetic so users can surface vendor and location based information, generate real-time reports, and execute material planning across sites. The project established a single database across multiple legal entities to provide real-time data access to U.S. staff, improve transparency for subcontracted production in India, and support compliance requirements such as GTIN-14 and RoHS. The Kinetic environment also simplified acquired business onboarding, with the company reporting group level integration and configuration of newly acquired entities in 30 to 45 days.
The implementation was executed with support from Corporate-Serve Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Epicors authorized channel partner in India. With Epicor Kinetic in place Aimtron achieved explicit operational results reported by the company, including a 23 percent reduction in production staffing costs and more than seven percent reduction in inventory costs, together with improved quality cost control and cross entity data transparency that supports better decision-making and manufacturing monitoring.
