In 2021, Air Liquide Portugal implemented ServiceNow HR as its HR Service Delivery platform to centralize employee requests and HR case management. The deployment was executed as part of a regional Human Resources Service Delivery program spanning France, Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, and contributed to a broader European Business Services rollout covering more than 15,000 employees across 28 countries.
The implementation emphasized ServiceNow HR functional modules aligned with HR Service Delivery workflows, including knowledge management, employee facing and internal HR knowledgebases, case management and a service catalog for HR processes. Configuration work focused on reducing platform complexity while standardizing request intake, approvals and fulfillment workflows, and the program included the CMDB and service asset alignment to ensure HR service dependencies were modeled within the enterprise configuration data.
Integrations were implemented where noted, including a telephony solution deployed for the European scope in conjunction with the Network and Telecommunications team, and collaboration with IT to unlock HR data analytics from ServiceNow HR records. The program also initiated AI proofs of concept to accelerate content and service delivery, and used ServiceNow HR as the operational source for HR service telemetry and knowledge consumption.
Governance and rollout were organized through a program office approach, with business process improvement, change management and program management roles driving continuous improvement across regions.
