In 2016 Airstep Australia implemented ReadyTech HR3 Payroll. The ReadyTech HR3 Payroll deployment began in August 2016 and has been operated by a payroll administrator based in Dandenong VIC to manage group payroll functions.
Implementation scope covered three legal entities, Airstep Australia, Airstep Flooring and KPJ Group, with Airstep Australia processing 32 fortnightly salaried employees and 30 weekly wage employees, and Airstep Flooring and KPJ Group each maintaining four employees. Functional modules and capabilities configured in ReadyTech HR3 Payroll included end to end weekly, fortnightly and monthly payruns, employee onboarding and termination processing, ongoing maintenance of employee records, leave management and leave liability reporting, superannuation and deduction reporting, salary sacrifice deduction handling, and superannuation reconciliation and preparation of super payments.
Operational ownership sat with payroll and HR administration and intersected with finance for superannuation payments and month end liabilities. Governance and workflow were operationalized through the payroll administrator who executed end to end payruns, produced month end reports such as leave, leave liability, superannuation and deduction reports, and used Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook to support reporting and communications for Payroll processes across the group.
