In 2022, AkroStar deployed Alibaba Cloud CDN on its public website. Alibaba Cloud CDN, a Content Delivery Network, was configured to front https://www.akrostar-tech.com and perform origin pull from AkroStar's web host to serve static assets, images, and site resources. The implementation reflects a compact, single site web delivery scope aligned with AkroStar's 10 employee operational footprint in Malaysia.
Configuration focused on core CDN capabilities including edge caching with cache control and TTL rules, cache key configuration to differentiate query strings, TLS termination and certificate binding for the custom domain, and content compression and HTTP protocol optimization to reduce origin load. Operational changes were limited to DNS CNAME updates to route traffic to Alibaba Cloud CDN and ongoing management through the Alibaba Cloud console, with origin health checks and caching policies maintained by AkroStar's internal IT operator.
