In 2013, Al Hilal Bank Kazakhstan implemented Temenos T24 as its Core Banking application. The Temenos T24 deployment was organized to support central overnight processing and day-to-day account and transaction services, with COB operations running for both Kazakhstan and UAE jurisdictions.
The implementation emphasized technical build control and release management for Temenos T24, with formal responsibilities to maintain COB reports, incident reports, and downtime reports to keep operational records accurate. Operational configuration included structured runbooks for running COB and executing end of day processing for Card centre, E-Banking, collection ERP and HPS systems.
Batch orchestration and job scheduling for T24 COB processing were executed in Automic, linking Temenos T24 COB schedules to EOD workflows across card, digital channels, collections and payments. Monitoring and operational surveillance extended to ATM connectivity and CCDM, and technical troubleshooting of T24 COB issues was a defined capability.
Governance centered on build control, release procedures, and continuous updating of operational reports, assigning accountability for COB, incident and downtime reporting. Operational coverage and workflow ownership spanned operations, card operations, e-banking, collections and infrastructure teams across Kazakhstan and UAE.
