In 2018, Al Hilal Bank implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its core ERP Financial platform. The deployment centralized HR and finance processes for the bank, aligning the application stack with banking and financial services operational requirements in the United Arab Emirates.
The implementation included a full HRMS deployment and targeted finance enhancements, with configuration work focused on ledger and subledger processing, accounts payable and receivable workflows, and payroll integrations typical of an ERP Financial environment. Oracle E-Business Suite was also the vehicle for a UI and branding modernization effort, implementing a refreshed UI/UX using Oracle Skins to standardize appearance and navigation for HR and finance users.
From September 2019 a program manager oversaw a technical upgrade program that included an Oracle ERP upgrade from R12.1.3 to R12.2.8, an Oracle Database upgrade from 11g to 12c, and a platform migration from Linux to AIX. The program required application tier compatibility testing, database migration sequencing, and OS-level transition planning to align the Oracle E-Business Suite stack with the new AIX platform.
Governance and change management were formalized under a program and project management structure beginning in September 2019, coordinating release windows, regression testing, and user acceptance testing across HR and finance stakeholders. Change management activities were tied to the UI branding and functional enhancements to ensure controlled rollouts and stakeholder signoff.
Oracle E-Business Suite continues to serve as Al Hilal Bank's ERP Financial backbone, supporting HRMS and finance business functions while reflecting a consolidated platform architecture and a modernized user interface through Oracle Skins.

Enterprise Architecture was instrumented to govern interfaces, data models and deployment topologies across on premise and partner hosted components.
Governance and process restructuring accompanied the technical rollout, with IT driving vendor management and contract negotiations for support and implementation services to achieve cost rationalization targets. The program incorporated formal Quality Assurance and governance functions, and delivery followed SDLC and Agile Scrum methodologies to align IT strategy with business priorities.
