In 2022, Al-Khaldi Saudi Arabia implemented Infor Document Management (IDM) alongside a broader Infor CloudSuite and Infor OS deployment. The engagement is categorized under Document Management and targeted automation of document-intensive transportation workflows across Al Khobar and the Gulf region.
The implementation included Infor Document Capture OCR for automated capture of shipping requests, waybills, delivery documents and invoice processing, with configuration of automated indexing, routing and archival workflows. Infor Document Management was provisioned to create a centralized digital repository and to drive standardized document handling and retrieval across operations.
IDM was integrated with Infor CloudSuite and Infor OS and instrumented to feed captured document images and metadata into Infor Birst for reporting and operational analytics. Integration work focused on aligning captured documents with transactional records and analytics pipelines so logistics and finance teams could access unified document and transaction views.
The solution went live in December 2022, with rollout covering Al-Khobar operations and extending across the companys Gulf region activities. Al-Khaldi reported significant time savings from automated document capture and improved operational visibility and analytics via Infor Birst.
