In 2012, Alfahim implemented Oracle E-Business Suite. The deployment targeted core ERP Financial operations and HR management across Alfahim Group in the United Arab Emirates, aligning the Oracle E-Business Suite with corporate finance and HR functions.
The implementation included Oracle HRMS and Financial capabilities alongside a complete customized Incentives Management module developed for the business. The program involved development, implementation and integration projects with adjacent systems, explicitly integrating SunGard Treasury module, Smart Vision time and attendance, SuccessFactors for performance management, Talent Link for recruitment and E-Travel for ticketing. Operational integration for the Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS environment included named interfaces to SunGard Treasury for treasury functions, Smart Vision for time and attendance feeds, SuccessFactors for performance management workflows, Talent Link for recruitment intake, and E-Travel for ticketing and travel authorization. These integrations supported end to end HR processes such as time driven payroll calculations, candidate to hire handoffs, performance based compensation adjustments, and reconciliation with treasury and finance systems.
Governance and ongoing operations were managed by the Business Applications team who retained responsibility for development, implementation, integration projects, day to day application support, and user training. The FIS Treasury and Risk Manager - Quantum Edition deployment anchored a broader digital transformation program focused on increasing visibility and improving process efficiency across treasury and finance.
The implementation included configuration of bank statement ingestion and automated MT 940 processing, vendor payment automation and treasury interbank transfer workflows. Treasury functional capabilities implemented aligned with Treasury Management best practices, covering cash position management, payment orchestration, and automated foreign exchange and interest rate data capture, with three specific treasury automations executed via UI Path RPA.
Integrations were a significant part of the implementation, with Oracle EBS R12 connected to the FIS platform for financial posting and payment initiation. Host to host bank connectivity was established with FAB, Mashreq and DIB, including MT 940 feeds into the FIS Sungard Quantum Treasury Management System, and vendor payment automation tied to FAB. Adjacent automation and digital solutions were introduced in the program, including DocuSign digital signature, an AI based bank reconciliation application and no code platforms for business process automation.
Governance and rollout were managed as part of the digital transformation initiative, with change management activities to drive end user adoption and a closure process for business process issues raised by users. The program also extended process automation beyond treasury to credit facility workflows, legal process automation and other approval processes, reflecting a coordinated governance approach between treasury, finance and legal stakeholders.
Explicit operational achievements documented in the program include automated bank balance MT 940 statement processing, establishment of H2H connectivity with three banks, and automation of vendor payment and treasury interbank transfers. The implementation of FIS Treasury and Risk Manager - Quantum Edition served as a platform-level modernization within Alfahim's Treasury Management environment and was integrated with multiple enterprise and bank systems as part of the ongoing digital transformation effort.
