In 2020, Alfasigma USA implemented Microsoft 365 to establish a Collaboration platform for its U.S. operations. The Microsoft 365 deployment provides cloud hosted email, real time team collaboration, and document sharing across approximately 300 employees, and positions Microsoft 365 as the primary Collaboration tool for corporate communication and knowledge work.
The implementation uses core Microsoft 365 capabilities, including Exchange Online for mail, SharePoint Online for intranet and document management, Microsoft Teams for chat and meetings, OneDrive for personal file sync, and the Office desktop and web applications for productivity. Microsoft 365 is also surfaced from the company website to provide authenticated access to collaboration resources. Configuration emphasis included tenant level site collections, Teams provisioning patterns, and document libraries tailored for controlled content.
Architecture follows a cloud first Microsoft 365 tenant model, centralizing mailbox, content, and group management within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Operational coverage is company wide across U.S. offices and focuses on corporate functions that require cross functional collaboration and secure document handling. Integrations adhere to Collaboration category norms, concentrating on group provisioning, SharePoint site templates, and Teams channel structures to support coordinated workstreams.
Governance is defined at the tenant level with role based administration, site and Teams lifecycle policies, and content retention controls to align collaboration practices with internal processes. Deployment used staged rollouts and administrative automation for user provisioning and standardized configuration across the Microsoft 365 tenant.

In 2014 Alfasigma USA improved Cegedim CRM, implementing Cegedim CRM as the company CRM application within a broader Data & Analytics initiative. The work targeted the Cegedim CRM SFA SaaS environment, with vendor QuintilesIMS noted in project context and an emphasis on tying CRM SFA outputs into enterprise reporting and analytics.
Implementation concentrated on CRM and SFA functional capability, standardizing sales force automation workflows, account and contact management, and operational reporting inside Cegedim CRM. Parallel development built out the Financial dataMART portion of an MS SQL Data Warehouse to capture transactional and commercial data for finance-aligned reporting.
The MS SQL Data Warehouse architecture was designed to ingest and consolidate Cegedim CRM data alongside Email Marketing Campaign databases, legacy databases used for baselines, and patient-level 90 Day Pharmacy Date initiative datasets, with Tableau chosen as the primary BI tool. Tableau was incorporated into the MS SQL Data Warehouse project to provide dashboarding and ad hoc analysis across Sales, Marketing, and Finance functions.
Governance and rollout were led by the Data & Analytics team, sequencing the Financial dataMART and BI integration in parallel with CRM enhancements, and emphasizing data consolidation for commercial and patient-level analytics. This aligned Cegedim CRM with enterprise data workflows to support Sales and Marketing business functions while enabling downstream analysis in Tableau.
