In 2013 alice + olivia implemented Microsoft Dynamics SL as an ERP Financial application to centralize accounting operations and standardize core financial controls. The deployment supported daily bank reconciliations across multiple domestic and international bank accounts, and structured month end journal entry processing for balance sheet accounts including prepaid expenses, prepaid insurance, and accrued expenses.
Microsoft Dynamics SL was configured to serve as the primary GL and month end engine, leveraging the Microsoft Dynamics Solomon GL system for departmental expense analysis and budget variance research. Functional capabilities emphasized general ledger transaction posting, recurring and ad hoc journal entry workflows, reconciliation tooling to support daily treasury activity, and reporting feeds to support monthly close activities.
Daily and weekly operational reports were produced from Blue Cherry and distributed to finance teams for reconciliation and analysis alongside outputs from Microsoft Dynamics SL. Operational coverage centered on corporate accounting, treasury, and financial planning and analysis, with processes tuned to handle both domestic and international banking relationships and multi currency reconciliation requirements.
Governance was organized around a daily reconciliation cadence and a month end close workflow that required preparers to analyze variances and post standard balance sheet journal entries. Controls and process documentation focused on journal entry authorization, reconciliation routings, and the distribution of Blue Cherry reports to support investigative workflows and stakeholder reporting.

In 2018, alice + olivia deployed CGS BlueCherry ERP as the core Retail Management platform to consolidate merchandising and wholesale order workflows. The implementation targeted corporate applications and the wholesale sales organization, aligning system configuration with business functions for product lifecycle, order orchestration, and inventory signaling across sales channels.
The deployment emphasized the CGS BlueCherry ERP BlueCherry Infinity footprint and ongoing upgrades, with system reporting delivered through SSRS and Power BI. Teams created and maintained BlueCherry system reports per user requests, and the Corporate Applications organization directed configuration changes, software modification proposals, and test plan validation for new releases.
Integrations were a central element of the rollout, the organization built an integration between NuOrder and BlueCherry Infinity and maintained connections to external systems and financials through Microsoft Dynamics SL. Internal and external development teams collaborated on custom development to bridge functional gaps, and upgrades and patches were coordinated across test and production databases hosted on AWS.
Governance was managed by the Corporate Applications team which provided daily end user support, led end user testing cycles, validated required functionality before retrofits, and produced modification proposals in coordination with project managers. Change control processes covered upgrade sequencing, patch coordination, and sign off for production deployments to stabilize the Retail Management environment.
