Alliance Parts Warehouse implemented MAM Software Autopart Online in 2014, deploying Automotive ERP from Kerridge Commercial Systems Limited to centralize distribution and warehouse operations. The implementation targeted APW's North Little Rock, Arkansas headquarters and its shareholder distribution model, addressing constraints of a command driven green screen enterprise solution that relied on batch processing and required evening and weekend physical inventories.
Autopart delivered an integrated Warehouse Management System module that handled goods receiving, put away, picking, packing and shipment, and was configured with barcode receiving and scanning inventory workflows. Core business modules activated included accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing and sales analysis, with configuration to enable real time inventory updates and routine cycle counting during normal operating hours.
APW extended MAM Software Autopart Online through integrations with OpenWebs and its MyPlace4Parts e commerce storefront for order capture, Phocas for business intelligence reporting, and GCommerce for EDI connectivity, creating end to end visibility across sales, purchasing and vendor channels. The deployment supported multi location inventory tracking and optimization within the Automotive ERP and WMS workflows, aligning warehouse goods flow with distribution and fulfillment processes.
Governance and process changes included moving from overnight batch updates to live data processes, instituting cycle counting during operating hours, and a two tiered support arrangement with Kerridge Commercial Systems Limited. Reported outcomes included improved order fulfillment and accuracy, higher fill rates, inventory accuracy consistently above 99 percent, elimination of annual physical inventory in favor of quarterly wall to wall counts, and reduced downtime and expense associated with inventory activities.
