The deployment of Oracle E-Business Suite - Fixed Assets was delivered into Alpura Mexico and operated alongside core financial and operational modules within the company's R12.2 environment. The implementation encompassed Fixed Assets functional capabilities including asset master data, capitalization and depreciation processing, and period close interfaces into General Ledger. On-going configuration and customization work supported GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Human Resource, and Order Management modules, with administration of concurrent programs, menus, responsibilities, exclusions, flexfields, lookups, and user personalizations using APIs, FNDLOAD, LDT and LCT files. Technical architecture incorporated Oracle SOA Suite 12c patterns and Oracle Service Bus components, using BPEL 2, JDBC and JNDI connectivity for service orchestration and WSDL driven interfaces. Web services were deployed as SOAP and REST endpoints into Oracle WebLogic Server and managed with Oracle Fusion Middleware Cloud Control 12c, while secure transport was enforced through HTTPS certificates and Oracle Wallet Manager orapki plus Access Control List configurations. Integrations explicitly implemented included AR, AP and GL interfaces for CFDI 3.3 via SOAP XML, an HR to SAP SuccessFactors integration using RESTful JSON, an AS400 to Order Management inventory interface using SOAP, and SQL Server to Oracle 12c replication via Gateways and database links. Application extensions and maintenance were built using ADF and OAF frameworks, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, and XML Publisher, with package development for notifications and automated processes. Upgrade work to E-Business Suite R12.2 branches including moves from 12.1.2 to 12.2.4 and 12.2.6 were executed as part of the technical lifecycle. Project governance relied on AIM methodology artifacts including MD050 functional design, MD070 technical test documentation, and MD120 installation steps to structure rollout and operational handover across finance, HR and order management teams.
