Alta Pest Control had been operating roughly 17 separate Intuit QuickBooks Accountant Desktop instances, and the mid-2024 project addressed consolidation challenges that intensified after a 2023 merger introduced conflicting charts of accounts. BT Partners led the implementation of Sage Intacct Industry Field Services Solution, configuring a single entity-level financial instance with a shared chart of accounts to enable real-time consolidated financial reporting and detailed drill-downs. The deployment emphasized core ERP Financial capabilities including consolidated general ledger, automated close workflows, audit-ready reporting, and custom report building to replace manual spreadsheet manipulation. The technical scope included migrating branch-level data into Sage Intacct and integrating third-party clouds and analytics, explicitly linking CRM and Bill.com systems and extracting financial data into a Power BI backed KPI database. The architectural approach centralized transactional posting and reporting in Sage Intacct while enabling downstream consumption by BI tools for alignment of financial and operational KPIs. Process and governance changes centered on standardizing account mappings and instituting a single chart of accounts to eliminate manual reconciliation across branches, this enabled significantly faster monthly close cycles. Alta Pest reduced close time from a previous 20 to 25 days on QuickBooks to roughly 15 days or less on Sage Intacct, in some cases closing in 12 days, and redeployed staff effort from manual consolidation to strategic analysis. The finance team also realized explicit cost outcomes reported by the client, including approximately a half million dollars per year in insurance premium savings and replacing a 50,000 per month fractional CFO with an internal team supported by Sage Intacct and BT Partners. The rollout targeted all finance operations across Alta Pest Controls 17 branch locations in the United States and met the September 1 migration goal. BT Partners provided hands-on implementation and ongoing support, ensuring the Sage Intacct deployment stabilized financial operations and enabled ongoing KPI instrumentation through integrated BI workflows.
