In 2015, Altercare implemented Infor Lawson HCM to centralize Core HR operations across its United States organization. The Infor Lawson HCM deployment served as the primary system of record for HR administration and payroll across Altercare, linking day to day HR activities with payroll processing for a core payroll population of roughly 200 employees within a broader 2000 employee workforce.
The implementation covered standard Core HR functional modules, including employee data management, onboarding and new hire paperwork, change of status processing, benefits administration for insurance and 401k, time off and PTO tracking, and payroll processing workflows. Payroll workstreams were instrumented to support daily and weekly payroll audits, timecard reconciliation, PTO validation and payroll close processes, and administrative orientation scheduling tied to policy and procedure delivery.
Infor Lawson HCM was integrated with front end talent and time systems to support recruitment and timekeeping flows. Recruitment sourcing and applicant tracking workflows referenced Newton and Indeed for candidate acquisition, while Kronos provided timekeeping data that was reconciled into payroll workflows, establishing Lawson as the authoritative employee record for status changes and payroll inputs.
Operational governance emphasized process controls and auditability, with daily and weekly payroll audit routines for the group of approximately 200 payroll employees, supervised staffing schedule management across departments, and centralized coordination of orientation and recognition programs. Workers compensation intake and injury reporting were maintained alongside HR administrative processes within the Lawson environment, positioning Altercare Infor Lawson HCM Core HR to manage HR administration, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, staffing and workers compensation workflows.
