In 2012 Altus Group implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial system to centralize transactional accounting and project financial controls. The implementation established Oracle NetSuite ERP as the primary financial backbone across corporate finance and operational teams.
Configuration work included full system configuration projects led from Discovery through Go Live phases, with business process workshops to define chart of accounts, billing, revenue recognition, and project accounting controls. The team administered Oracle NetSuite ERP together with Oracle OpenAir Project Management to align project financials and time and expense workflows.
Operational support covered Accounting, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Support, providing day to day ERP support and maintaining roles and user permissions in compliance with SOX requirements. Departmental managers were engaged to standardize role specific metrics which were deployed to dashboards within Oracle NetSuite ERP to surface operational KPIs for each business function.
Governance included training programs delivered in live and remote environments and ongoing administration of security roles to enforce segregation of duties. The solution is used to capture external applicants via the career site and route candidate records into the ATS for HR and talent acquisition teams. Access controls and role-based hiring permissions are applied to separate responsibilities between recruiting teams and hiring managers.
Governance was organized around standardized requisition approval workflows and status transition rules to enforce consistent hiring practices and candidate data handling across the organization.
