In 2015, AM Castle China implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial application. AM Castle China engaged IT Convergence to deliver a multi module, multi language Oracle E-Business Suite 11i instance with China localization to satisfy local statutory requirements and to address cross-border operational needs between China and the US.
The rollout covered core financial and supply chain capabilities, specifically AP, AR, GL, COST, SO, PO, Pricing, INV, QA, BOM, WIP, WMS, and ASC. The Oracle E-Business Suite deployment included configuration for China statutory localization and targeted data conversion and item cross referencing workflows to resolve the business challenge of differing item codes across countries.
IT Convergence began the implementation in late April and completed delivery within five months, assigning four consultants including one technical resource. IT Convergence provided end user training for key AM Castle China staff and delivered post go live support as part of the engagement.
Operational scope was centered on the Shanghai site with functional impact across finance, procurement, inventory, manufacturing and quality management processes. Project governance emphasized vendor led implementation and structured knowledge transfer to reduce dependence on the US team that had previously constrained data conversion and mapping work.
