The deployment was embedded in the Help Desk Ufficio IT engagement in Alessandria, Italy running from 01/04/2022 to 18/03/2025, and focused on first and second level IT support for internal users and company infrastructure. The implementation covered device lifecycle management for Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktops, iOS and Android mobile devices, and peripherals, with endpoint detection and response capabilities delivered through Sangfor Endpoint Secure. Configuration work included policy enforcement and agent provisioning for endpoint protection, plus support workflows for Microsoft Office 365 applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint to align endpoint security with productivity tooling. Sangfor Endpoint Secure operated alongside Sangfor HCI infrastructure monitoring for consolidated security telemetry, and the environment integrated with Microsoft Active Directory to manage the company domain, user authentication and network folder access permissions. Operational scope included network device and infrastructure support for firewall, switch and access point troubleshooting, VoIP switchboard operations and printer management, reflecting a combined endpoint and network operational coverage. Governance and operational processes centralized incident handling under the internal Help Desk Ufficio IT, applying 1st and 2nd level ticket workflows for user and infrastructure incidents. During the engagement the team also reviewed and revised telecommunications contracts, optimizing the companys telecommunications costs through contract review and implementation of more cost effective solutions. |
