In 2008 American IT Solutions implemented Fujitsu Interstage for Process Mining to develop and publish automated workflows supporting employee self-service ordering and back-end orchestration. The deployment centered on the Fujitsu Interstage Business Process Manager and a custom web interface used by Web Form Designer and Automation Business Process Developer roles to create and test dynamic company web forms and workflows.
The implementation included configuration of the web form designer and complex workflow orchestration within Fujitsu Interstage Business Process Manager, using automation to reduce manual steps in order processing. Developers leveraged SQL queries and web services to surface data from other company systems and to invoke backend processes, while the environment supported ongoing feature development and testing cycles.
Integrations were explicitly executed with Active Directory for account and membership management, and with internal systems through web services and database queries to populate and validate form data. Operational coverage extended to global work groups, with international troubleshooting and support for live order process instances, problem tickets, work orders, and outage handling.
Governance incorporated role based authorizations, managed user records and system accounts through a custom interface, and formal SLA driven customer support workflows to handle exceptions. The implementation emphasized automation of access provisioning and deprovisioning during testing, and coordinated cross functional planning with various groups to align forms and process logic with business functions.
