Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2012 2012
American National Standards Institute (ANSI) selected and deployed Microsoft Dynamics GP in 2012 to replace a legacy financial system, implementing it as the organization’s ERP Financial backbone for accounting, payables, sales order processing and budgeting. Deployment included end-user training and ongoing support across finance and administrative teams, with ANSI staff providing system specification, testing and functional documentation to align GP configurations with established business practices. The implementation centered on financial operations and payment processing: Dynamics GP was extended with an EFT export to Wells Fargo Payment Manager and Positive Pay (Safe Pay) submission for check validation, and Mekorma MICR was deployed to print any in-office checks. Payables workflow and document management were integrated with KwikTag Payables so electronic approvals and scanned documents are recorded and searched inside Dynamics GP for both the New York and Washington, DC offices. Financial reporting and audit support were addressed through custom SmartLists (via SmartList Builder) and tailored sales/invoice document modifications; Concur Travel & Expense reporting was configured to extract American Express–related expenses for direct import into Dynamics GP rather than manual Excel journal entries. ANSI also designed and implemented Microsoft Dynamics CRM for sales process management and provided training across Dynamics GP, CRM, SharePoint and related tools. Explicit outcomes documented by ANSI during the rollout include reduced manual journal rework, faster audit data assembly, cost savings and improved payment security through Positive Pay, and streamlined payables processing via the Wells Fargo integration.

Workday Legacy Workday HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 American National Standards Institute implemented Workday HCM to centralize Core HR functions for its human resources and benefits administration. The effort built on internal HR work conducted between April 2018 and September 2019, aligning organizational guidelines, onboarding standardization and recruiting workflows with the new Workday HCM deployment. Workday HCM was configured to support core HR capabilities including structured onboarding programs, applicant tracking and recruiting administration, performance management, end of year compensation trend analysis, benefits enrollment and benefits administration, and maintenance of personnel records. The implementation incorporated compliance-oriented workflows for I9 verification, background checks, affirmative action program maintenance and annual EEO-1 reporting, reflecting the organization level HR controls in place. Operational integrations emphasized transactional handoffs with payroll and insurance providers, with required documents processed through those external payroll and benefits vendors to ensure accurate deductions and enrollment changes. The rollout focused on HR and departmental manager workflows at the New York, NY location, with HR staff administering training plans, employee relations counseling, exit interview processing and recordkeeping inside Workday HCM. Governance changes included standardizing onboarding with an initial one on one HR welcome meeting, codifying policies and procedures, and centralizing human resource information system records to support compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws. The project narrative centers on embedding Workday HCM as the authoritative Core HR system to support recruiting, compensation, benefits and compliance operations.

Advanced Solutions International Legacy iMIS Membership Management Membership Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2012 2012
In 2012 American National Standards Institute implemented iMIS Membership Management, a Membership Management application provided by Advanced Solutions International. The deployment centralized membership records and membership lifecycle management to support ANSI's member-facing professional services functions and membership administration workflows. Configuration focused on core membership database design, renewal and dues billing workflows, communications and constituent segmentation, and built-in reporting capabilities. iMIS Membership Management was configured to manage member profiles, manage renewal automation, and produce membership and financial reports consistent with Membership Management functional expectations. Operational coverage included coordination and support between iMIS and ANSI's wider application estate, specifically Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Concur Travel and Expense, KwikTag imaging, and SharePoint. ANSI maintained reporting and data exchange workflows to align membership data with sales, financial posting, expense reporting, and document imaging processes, and the team conducted system and user acceptance testing as part of integration work. Governance and rollout practices emphasized clear functional requirements, formal system and user acceptance testing, and end user training and support. The Director of Enterprise Solutions led specification, documentation, testing coordination, and ongoing support for iMIS Membership Management to ensure the application met business line needs and operational best practices.
