SAP SAP ERP ECC 6.0 SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2017 2018
AMOS Group initiated an SAP S/4HANA ERP Financial transformation in 2017, replacing a legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment. The program delivered SAP S/4HANA 1809 as the new global ERP platform, taking a global blueprint live during a deployment program that ran through 2018–2020; the implementation was completed on schedule and within the approved budget. AMOS obtained formal approval for the S/4HANA project and executed the technical and process cutovers required to move core finance and related ERP functionality onto the S/4HANA 1809 release. The S/4HANA deployment formed the centerpiece of a broader IT consolidation and post‑merger integration agenda. IT leadership produced a 3.5‑year strategic roadmap and unified IT architecture following M&A activity, standardized governance via a newly established Center of Excellence, and reorganized the global IT team and support model into a Global IT Service Hub. Complementary initiatives executed alongside the ERP rollout included tenant‑to‑tenant and hybrid Microsoft 365 migration, VM migration, application rationalization, HRIS and RFID evaluations, integration planning and milestone execution, post‑merger change management alignment, and budget/financial recovery planning for application enhancements and optimizations.
