| Oracle | Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise | Oracle NetSuite ERP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019 AngelList implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to centralize accounting and consolidation across 15 subsidiaries and the holding company, positioning Oracle NetSuite ERP as the primary ERP Financial system for corporate finance. The implementation was driven to support timely and accurate accounting, with monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated and individual financial statement preparation and coordination of five annual financial statement audits including one PCAOB compliant engagement.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to provide core financial modules typical of an ERP Financial deployment, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and consolidated financial reporting. The platform also accommodated budgeting, financial projections, and cash flow forecasting workflows used to produce company level and subsidiary level budgets and models.
The deployment included a structured data migration from Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise into Oracle NetSuite ERP, transferring transactional history and chart of accounts to establish a centralized accounting repository. Operational coverage spans the company finance function with responsibilities extending to multistate tax structures, partnerships, and corporations, while the finance team coordinated tax filing and compliance work with an outside CPA rather than as a systems integration.
Governance and process changes centered on establishing system based consolidation and reconciliation workflows, audit trail and control configurations to support external audit cycles, and centralized month end close procedures. A finance leadership role managed the rollout and ongoing operations, overseeing a team of five that combined accounting, human resources, and operations responsibilities to maintain system driven financial controls and reporting.

| Ironclad | Legacy | Ironclad CLM | Contract Lifecycle Management | Content Management | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 AngelList implemented Ironclad CLM as its Contract Lifecycle Management platform to centralize venture and corporate contracting for an in-house legal organization supporting a venture capital platform with over a billion dollars in AUM. Ironclad CLM was positioned to serve legal, commercial, fundraising and compliance workflows across interconnected subsidiaries, parent companies and spinout entities while supporting executive and operations stakeholders on product counseling and corporate governance matters.
The deployment focused on core Contract Lifecycle Management capabilities, including contract automation for fund formation and fundraising instruments, a template and clause library for repeatable venture-focused documents, approval workflow orchestration, and a centralized contract repository with metadata to track lifecycle stages. Configuration emphasized contract automation to enable self-service drafting and iterative document updates, aligning contract templates to securities, M&A and commercial transaction use cases common to venture platforms.
Operational coverage spanned the in-house legal team, executive leadership, product and operations partners, and interaction with outside counsel and portfolio companies for portfolio company action requests and GP LP management. The Ironclad CLM implementation was used to formalize workflows for commercial contracts, vendor agreements, customer terms, employee and contractor documents, incentive compensation instruments, and regulatory compliance related to securities and data privacy.
Governance and process restructuring included building in-house legal tools around knowledge management, legal issue ticketing and marketing compliance, and embedding contract automation within legal playbooks and approval gates. The program contributed to building out a higher capacity in-house legal function, and supported ongoing securities compliance and policy interpretation work within the venture platform using Ironclad CLM.
