SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, Anmol Industries implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0, deploying the application to serve core accounting and financial control processes as an ERP Financial system. The deployment was managed on-site in Kolkata and targeted corporate finance functions within the consumer packaged goods business unit. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to support standard financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting and controlling, and was used to generate operational and financial reports. Configuration and security work included creation of users, role creation and assignment, authorization management, license assignment, password resets, user locking and unlocking, and ongoing role maintenance to enforce segregation of duties and access governance. The environment was operated on a heterogeneous infrastructure, with application instances running on SUSE, AIX and Windows servers and SYBASE and HANA databases indicated in operational notes. Basis administration practices implemented included background job scheduling and monitoring, ABAP dump and work process monitoring, application server health checks, daily full and incremental backups to external media and internal drives, and procedures for restoring full or incremental backups from tape or internal storage, along with client administration tasks such as client export, import, local client copy, client creation and deletion. Operational coverage extended beyond IT to finance and operations teams, with SAP Basis and functional consultants collaborating on report development and new developments, and IT staff interacting with major business users to gather requirements. Governance and operational oversight included monitoring SAP execution and performance, vendor coordination for infrastructure and support, monthly presentations to the board on SAP operations, and ongoing management of IT assets and new infrastructure projects. The IT team documented and executed upgrade and maintenance activities, including ECC6 EHP7 upgrade work and experience supporting end to end S4 HANA implementation projects using platform tools such as SUM for enhancement package management. Change controls centered on client administration, backup and restore policies, job and process monitoring, and formalized user authorization procedures to maintain operational stability for SAP ERP ECC 6.0.

IBM Legacy IBM AIX Operating System (OS) PaaS n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, Anmol Industries implemented IBM AIX as the core server operating platform in an Operating System (OS) deployment to support its SAP landscapes and enterprise IT operations. The IBM AIX environment was positioned alongside SUSE and Windows hosts to run SAP R/3, ECC 6.0, and S4 HANA workloads and their associated database engines. IBM AIX provided platform-level administration for user and authorization management, role assignment, license handling, and system account lifecycle tasks, with SAP client creation, client export and import, local client copy, and client locking and deletion executed from the AIX-based SAP Basis infrastructure. Operational capabilities implemented on IBM AIX included background job monitoring, ABAP dump analysis, work process and application server monitoring, and daily full and incremental backups to external tape media and internal drives together with restore procedures. Integrations in the environment included SAP S4 HANA, ECC 6.0 and R/3 application tiers interoperating with SYBASE and HANA database engines while coexisting with SUSE and Windows operating systems. The deployment supported finance and operational business functions by providing platform stability for reporting, transaction processing, and SAP Basis administration across departments. Governance and operational processes were organized around SAP Basis discipline on IBM AIX, encompassing vendor coordination, IT asset maintenance, new infrastructure project execution by internal IT staff, and routine collaboration with SAP consultants. Operational oversight included monitoring employee performance and regular technical reporting to senior management, positioning IBM AIX as the documented operating system platform for capacity, backup, and user administration activities within Anmol Industries.
