In 2013 Antelope Valley Transit Authority implemented Avail Finance, an ERP Financial application from Avail Technologies, as part of an enterprise deployment that included myAvail/myStop ETMS and Track-It real-time passenger information across Lancaster and Palmdale, California. The deployment positioned Avail Finance within the same platform footprint as the agency ETMS to enable operationally linked financial processing.
Avail Finance was configured to provide core ERP Financial capabilities aligned with transit operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll and driver payment processing, fare revenue reconciliation, and financial reporting. Functionality was mapped to transit workflows so driver payments and trip-level revenue events could be captured and routed into accounting and payroll ledgers, reflecting standard ERP Financial transactional flows and automated reconciliation routines.
The implementation was executed as an enterprise rollout covering operations, finance and payroll functions, leveraging ETMS scheduling and trip records to centralize driver payment and fare accounting workflows. The ETMS and real-time passenger information deployment is documented to have improved on-time performance from approximately 65 percent to as high as 82 percent. Finance and payroll usage of Avail Finance is inferred from the unified myAvail architecture and the agency-wide deployment rather than from an explicit finance-only case study.
