In 2020, AO UniCredit Bank implemented 1C ERP World Edition as its enterprise accounting platform within the ERP Accounting category. The deployment centered on consolidating transactional accounting and payments processing in 1C ERP World Edition while leveraging a Host2Host direct integration between the bank's ERP system and its E-Banking System, a configuration described by the company as allowing avoidance of using E-banking systems and reducing associated costs and risks. The implementation included initial setup to support ISO20022 formatted files as the exchange standard for payments.
Functional coverage focused on core ERP Accounting capabilities including general ledger processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and payments orchestration, consistent with 1C ERP World Edition capabilities. Configuration work emphasized automated generation of ISO20022 compliant payment files and reconciliation workflows to support straight through processing and reduce manual intervention.
Integrations included the Host2Host link to the E-Banking System and internal connections to treasury and finance operational workflows, with file exchange governed by ISO20022 message formats. The company stated plans to launch a dedicated integration module with the 1C ERP System in the near future to formalize the interface and streamline exchange of payment and cash position data.
Governance elements during rollout covered mapping of chart of accounts to reporting requirements, validation rules for ISO20022 files, and process changes for payment approval and exception handling across finance and treasury teams. The program prioritized configuration of file formats and controls rather than third party banking portals, aligning compliance and operational risk considerations with the bank's ERP Accounting architecture.

The upgrade remained the IT Department priority during 2015, driven by a goal to build a scalable robust IT landscape that directly supports business priorities and new product rollout.
Under the Core Banking Transformation project the bank replaced and upgraded the primary automated banking system, the bank's general ledger, treasury systems and cash and settlement services. As part of the CBT first release the implementation delivered new functionality for CIF, K+TP, Payment Hub and SME Loans systems, with Oracle Flexcube positioned as the central application to support core deposit, payments and lending workflows.
The bank’s main systems were connected to a central database to raise the level of integration and data quality for analytical and IT systems, and a resilient infrastructure was built in preparation for the transition to FlexCube 12. Operation and development teams received all necessary training to support both run and build activities, enabling internal IT ownership of continued development and production support.
Governance and rollout were led by the IT Department with staff involvement in key projects for new product development and updates, aligning configuration and operational processes to the new Core Banking platform. The implementation emphasized infrastructure resilience and staff enablement to prepare for a full scale start of Oracle Flexcube across banking operations.
