The deployment replaced multiple Intuit QuickBooks Accountant Desktop files and addressed manual consolidation bottlenecks that had grown with acquisitions and higher transaction volumes. Sage Intacct Construction was configured for multi entity management, construction accounting, and automated revenue recognition aligned to percentage of completion methods, enabling automated recognition tied to operational metrics such as roofs sold and built. The implementation included configuration of accounts receivable workflows, real time reporting and profit and loss visibility across divisions, and automation of critical month end and consolidation tasks using standard Sage Intacct Construction capabilities. The program integrated Sage Intacct Construction with AccuLynx to map sales contracts directly into the accounting system, preserving a sales to finance transaction flow and improving accounts receivable accuracy. Apex retained other best in class cloud tools and connected them where appropriate, creating a modular cloud ecosystem that kept specialized systems in place while centralizing financial data in Sage Intacct Construction. CBIZ CompuData served as the system integrator and project lead, collaborating closely with Apex and the AccuLynx team to resolve complex CRM integration points and to tailor construction specific accounting configurations. Governance changes included centralization of data management, standardized month end procedures, and new workflows for revenue recognition and intercompany reporting, all supported by CBIZ CompuData during the go live and stabilization period. Outcomes explicitly reported include elimination of separate QuickBooks files per division, improved multi entity management, real time divisional P and L visibility, and a reduction in the month end close from 15 business days to 10. The new Sage Intacct Construction foundation supports ongoing growth and acquisitions, reduces manual consolidation work for the finance team, and increases predictability in financial reporting.
