In 2016, APGIS implemented Sage 1000 to consolidate core ERP Financial capabilities for day to day accounting and finance operations within the insurance business. Operational scope extended to processing payment campaigns for suppliers in France and abroad, excluding SEPA, and managing exceptions arising from the internal Solpagis application. The finance and accounting functions were primary users, with workflows designed to surface and resolve anomalies from Solpagis and to feed reconciled bank and supplier ledger positions into the Sage 1000 general ledger.
Governance practices implemented around Sage 1000 emphasized structured month end closing contributions, the constitution of review files and formal proof of accounts, together with suspense account management and reconciliation controls to support auditability. Day to day operational tasks remained focused on invoice posting, bank tallying and preparing documentation for tax and statutory requirements, with Sage 1000 identified as the central ERP Financial application for those processes.
