In 2015 Apolis implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its core financial system, with implementation activity concentrated in Torrance, CA between Feb 15 and Jun 15 and delivery support from RJT Solution Beacon as an Oracle Applications partner. The engagement was executed with an Oracle Financials Functional Analyst on staff who owned configuration and functional delivery from the CRP1 phase through Go-Live, responsible for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets and related controls.
The implementation configured Oracle Cloud ERP modules across GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Procurement PO functionality and Project Accounting, and included explicit setup of SLA rules. Workstreams included requirements gathering, AS-Is and To-Be documentation, BR-100 development prior to setups, workshop facilitation and end user presentations, and creation of Hyperion financial reports and OTBI/OBIA instrumentation for reporting.
Technical and architectural activities comprised instance provisioning for all financial modules, designing Oracle application architecture to support multiple business case scenarios and conducting impact analysis and demo system design. The deployment addressed multi-organization financial structure and integration points between financial modules and Oracle Fusion Project Accounting, and incorporated knowledge of Fusion Human Capital Management Foundation for cross-functional alignment.
Governance and process work emphasized formal documentation and controls, with meeting minutes, business requirement artifacts, gap analysis and workshop-driven design sessions used to finalize configurations. Compliance and accounting posture were considered through review of United States GAAP, IFRS implications and SOX relevant controls during the configuration and validation activities, aligning the Oracle Cloud ERP implementation with enterprise financial reporting needs in the ERP Financial category.
