In 2019, Aptiv Ireland implemented SAP S/4 HANA Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR) in the Credit Union Management category to centralize credit control within its finance organization. The deployment targeted core finance and intercompany accounting workflows, with a focus on credit exposure monitoring and limit checks as part of the broader SAP S/4 HANA finance landscape.
The SAP S/4 HANA Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR) implementation included configuration of credit master data, exposure calculation and automated credit limit validation consistent with Credit Union Management capabilities. Workstreams incorporated Universal Parallel Accounting to support parallel ledgers and reporting, and design inputs referenced Fiori UI5 and GUI options for operational screens and Query Browser reporting for RTR and analytical needs.
Integrations and operational coverage were driven by detailed intercompany workshops that mapped Transfer Pricing, intercompany stock transfers, intra company stock movements, dropships, cross company rebills, intercompany sale of assets, prototypes and service fee flows. These intercompany processes were linked to credit checks and exposure calculations so that credit controls functioned across related company codes and transaction types within finance and accounting.
Governance used documented Business Process Hierarchy and Business Process Flows, requirements gathering and Fit/Gap analysis executed in Solution Manager Focused Build, with system build demos to validate Advanced Intercompany Sales and Stock Transfer processes. The implementation emphasized tying Fiori UX requirements to security roles and business process flows, and defined RTR operational and analytical reporting requirements through workshops and detailed solutioning.
