In 2023 Arizona Optical Metrology implemented Odoo Manufacturing as part of a consolidated Odoo Manufacturing ERP deployment hosted on Odoo online. The implementation centralized a suite of Odoo applications including CRM, Dashboards, Employees, Email Marketing, Marketing Automation, Social Marketing, Events, Data Recycle, Documents, PLM, Studio, Sign, Purchase, Manufacturing, and Sales to replace fragmented Excel and SharePoint based workflows used during earlier growth stages.
Odoo Manufacturing was configured to support the companys custom optics production workflows, linking PLM driven design artifacts to manufacturing bills of materials and shop floor work orders. Configuration emphasized order specific routing for custom computer generated holograms, visibility into the master production schedule for concurrent custom jobs, and dashboarded forecasting to support inventory planning. The deployment reused Odoo Studio and Documents to capture design iterations and approvals, and Sign to formalize order acceptance and engineering sign off.
