| SAP | Legacy | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Arla Foods implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform. The SAP S/4 HANA implementation encompassed explicit functional coverage for SAP Production, SAP PM, SAP WM and Transportation Management to align enterprise resource planning with supply chain execution.
As part of an SAP Next upgrade to S/4 HANA the program organized configuration workstreams around production planning, plant maintenance processes, warehouse management and transportation planning. Functional workflows were configured to manage production orders, maintenance notifications and work orders, warehouse movements and transportation scheduling. Process controls and lifecycle handling were established for tickets, Demands and Change Requests to ensure operational consistency.
Operational scope was anchored in Supply Chain & Planning, with an IT Service Delivery Manager for SAP Production and Transportation Management supporting Business and IT Solutions and cooperating with the Dairy ART. Governance emphasized ticket and demand lifecycle management, formal change control, planning of enhancements in coordination with business, ART and vendors, and vendor performance follow up on incidents and service requests.
SAP S/4 HANA was positioned to support Arla Foods business functions including production, maintenance, warehousing and transportation while maintaining ERP Financial core capabilities. The Delivery Manager role also participated in ad hoc tasks tied to the SAP Next upgrade to S/4 HANA, supporting rollout coordination and ongoing operational support.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Arla Foods implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR application. The program was organized as a global HR system implementation under a centralized project management structure while parallel local ERP implementation activities were managed alongside the core rollout.
The SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central deployment focused on establishing a global HR master data model, organizational management and position frameworks, and employee lifecycle workflows consistent with Core HR functionality. Configuration work concentrated on harmonizing employee profiles, organizational hierarchies, position and job frameworks, and absence and time-off processes to support consistent HR operations across sites.
Operational delivery included agile Scrum teams led by a Scrum Master for adjacent initiatives, specifically a lease database system and a digital workplace program. The digital workplace workstream delivered SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Skype tooling to empower colleagues and to standardize collaboration and communication across the organization.
Governance combined a central program manager for the global SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central rollout with agile team rituals for local implementations and adjacent systems, enabling coordination between central HR, IT, and local ERP teams. Change control and configuration governance were exercised to align global Core HR data models with local ERP needs and to manage parallel deployments across functions and sites.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP Concur Travel | Travel Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Arla Foods implemented SAP Concur Travel as part of a global Travel Management rollout. The Project GO initiative coordinated a T&E system Concur global roll-out to more than 20 countries and aligned the program with the Indirect spend streams of Arla's Calcium programme.
SAP Concur Travel was configured to standardize travel booking, expense capture, receipt imaging, policy enforcement, and multi-level approval workflows, aligning travel spend governance with centralized indirect spend controls. The deployment followed a cloud-native Travel Management architecture with centralized configuration, role based access controls, and country specific policy variants to address local compliance and tax requirements.
The Concur rollout was executed alongside Zero Based Budgeting activities for indirect spend and the Arla Robotics BluePrism rollout, enabling coordinated process redesign and automation of manual T&E touchpoints. Governance was program driven, using phased country rollout waves, consolidated change control for travel policy and approval workflows, and impacted finance, procurement, travel managers, and employee travel processes.
