The platform also surfaces specialised visualizations such as Time Deltas Maps and tyre life displays that support stint planning, undercut and overcut analysis, and rapid assessment of tyre degradation and fuel windows. Operational integration tied Catapult RaceWatch to live telemetry, timing feeds, race control messages, competitor position tracking, integrated video and race radio so teams could access contextual data and communications in one interface. The implementation targeted trackside engineering and strategy groups, enabling performance directors and strategy engineers to confirm running order and tactical options instantly during cautions and full course yellows. Governance and workflow around race strategy were adjusted to rely on RaceWatch as the authoritative source for situational awareness, with teams standardizing on its race planner and visualizations for pit window and caution scenarios. Arrow McLaren IndyCar reported RaceWatch as more powerful and reliable than prior tools, and noted an explicit reduction in man hours of between 10 and 15 hours, reflecting increased operational efficiency during race weekends.
