In 2021, ARYZTA Ireland implemented SD Worx Intelligo Megapay as its Payroll application, replacing Access PeopleXD Payroll formerly CoreHR Payroll. The deployment targeted MegaPay On-Cloud to enable remote working and to remove on-premises hardware, software licensing and maintenance costs. The implementation covered payroll processing for in excess of 1,000 employees spread across several sites, handling monthly and fortnightly pay cycles for five legal entities in Ireland and the UK.
SD Worx Intelligo Megapay was configured to centralize core payroll processing, manage pay cycle calendars, and deliver statutory end of year tax updates and payroll administration capabilities. SD Worx Ireland assumed responsibility for software updates and infrastructure management, eliminating internal upgrade tasks and shifting data security oversight to the vendor. The environment was provisioned as a scalable cloud payroll service to support remote access for payroll administrators and to scale payroll capacity across entities.
Operational coverage included payroll and HR administration functions across the five entities, with payroll teams and payroll managers executing consolidated payroll runs in Ireland and the UK. The implementation supported standard Payroll workflows for fortnightly and monthly cycles and embedded vendor-led processes for end of year tax filing and update management.
ARYZTA reported streamlined payroll processes and immediate benefits from the MegaPay On-Cloud deployment, including easy remote deployment, removal of hardware and upgrade concerns, relief of internal maintenance resources, and ongoing payroll and end of year tax update services provided by SD Worx Ireland. Warren Bridge, Payroll Manager at ARYZTA, cited time savings and reduced costs as immediate outcomes following the migration.
