In 2023 Asian Food Group deployed AtroPIM as a cloud Product Information Management application to consolidate article master data across procurement, finance, logistics and sales for a Europe wide food distributor. The implementation targeted product data centralization to support real time ERP synchronization, automated workflows and improved regulatory compliance.
AtroPIM was configured with core product master and digital asset management capabilities, taxonomy and classification structures, and workflow automation to manage approval and publishing. Data quality rules, attribute templates and variant management workflows were implemented to enforce consistency across SKUs and packaging attribute sets. The configuration emphasized reusable attribute sets and staged publish controls typical of Product Information Management solutions.
The cloud deployment established real time synchronization with the company ERP and exposed APIs and feed exports for downstream channels used by procurement, finance, logistics and sales teams across Europe. Integration patterns emphasized event driven updates for stock and product changes and scheduled catalog exports to downstream systems, aligning product information with transactional processes.
Governance introduced role based access controls, designated data stewards and staged rollout across business functions to align ownership with procurement and quality teams. Operational processes were restructured to move approval and publishing into AtroPIM workflows and to centralize regulatory documentation alongside product attributes. The implementation delivered a single source of truth for article master data through AtroPIM and improved regulatory compliance for product labeling and documentation.
