Sage Legacy Sage Intacct ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, the Association of Public Health Laboratories implemented Sage Intacct as its ERP Financial application to centralize accounting workflows related to federally funded contracts. The deployment targeted the nonprofit membership organization that supports public health laboratories, and the implementation focused on financial controls tied to grant and contract management. Sage Intacct was configured to handle contract activation, obligation and de-obligation of funding, and invoice payments within the accounting system. The configuration emphasized contract accounting and accounts payable flows, and supported final contract preparation and distribution to vendors for signature. An audit-level review process was devised to verify completeness of electronic and hardcopy ratified contracts prior to archiving. Operationally the solution served as the first point of compliance review for contract submissions, with the contracts function performing initial checks for accuracy, required SAM and OFAC searches, attachments and signatures before escalation to Grants compliance and Legal staff. The implementation created a structured handoff between Contracts, Grants compliance, and Legal to ensure consistent documentation and review sequencing. Governance and process changes included standardized intake and verification workflows, formalized contract activation procedures in Sage Intacct, and routine audit-level verification before archiving. Those contract management process improvements produced four consecutive clean audits and improved inter-departmental communication to create greater transparency of contract status within the process.

iCIMS Legacy iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System Applicant Tracking System HCM n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, the Association of Public Health Laboratories implemented iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System, deploying an Applicant Tracking System to publish openings and capture candidate applications through its public careers site. The iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System is surfaced on the organization’s careers domain at careers-aphl.icims.com and serves as the primary channel for external applicant intake. The implementation centers on core Applicant Tracking System capabilities, including job requisition posting, candidate application capture, resume parsing and candidate tracking through configurable workflow stages. Configuration work focused on requisition templates, application forms and automated applicant routing to align hiring manager review steps with the association’s recruiting processes. Integrations are limited to the public career site deployment, where the iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System manages the end to end applicant experience and data capture for the Association of Public Health Laboratories. Operational ownership sits with HR and talent acquisition functions, with hiring managers and HR administrators using the system for posting, screening and interview scheduling. Governance includes centralized applicant records, configurable permissions for HR and hiring managers and defined approval workflows for job postings and candidate movement through stages, reflecting standard Applicant Tracking System governance practices for an organization of this size. The deployment emphasizes career site integration and structured hiring workflows rather than broader enterprise system integrations.
