In 2018, Astellas Pharma UK deployed Avature ATS as its Applicant Tracking System. The Avature ATS instance is exposed as the company careers portal at astellas.avature.net, providing public job search, branded job listings, and direct online application capture through the Avature ATS platform. The deployment uses the career site as the primary candidate-facing channel and implements search and list filtering, vacancy publishing, and application intake workflows within Avature ATS.
The implementation centers on applicant lifecycle management and recruiter workflow configuration common to an Applicant Tracking System, including requisition posting, candidate profile tracking, configurable application forms, and vacancy management in Avature ATS. | Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Warehouse Builder | Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) | PaaS | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, Astellas Pharma UK implemented Oracle Warehouse Builder to establish an Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) layer supporting HRIS and enterprise reporting. Oracle Warehouse Builder was used to centralize ETL routines and feed reporting datasets for HR, payroll, and talent management use cases.
The implementation focused on ETL pipeline design, complex transform logic, reconciliation processes, data staging and cleansing routines, and dataset publication for reporting and analytics. Work included development of reusable mappings, parameterized workflows, and Excel and Microsoft Access exports to support ad hoc analysis and reconciliation.
Integrations were explicitly implemented with SAP HCM modules and the SuccessFactors suite including Employee Central, Learning Management System, and Performance Management System, as well as with global Concur and Ariba systems and ongoing HRx Payroll and Kronos time projects. The Oracle Warehouse Builder instance served as the central ETL hub for six project lifecycles, with the data and insights lead reporting into various EMEA Data Leads and coordinating interface and data ownership across HR and payroll functions.
Governance was organized through data migration and integrations workstreams, with business and functional experts embedded to validate mappings and reconciliation rules. Explicit outcomes included recognition for outstanding deliverables and a spot bonus for Concur and Ariba projects, plus a letter of recognition for Performance Management System and Employee Central work, reflecting successful delivery of the ETL and integration scope.
