The SAP S/4 HANA implementation centered on core financial management and master data management capabilities, configured to support accounting, financial close workflows and operational transaction processing. The program included the rollout of complementary systems in the SAP S/4 HANA environment, specifically CRM, e-commerce platforms, service desk functions and business intelligence, to create integrated end-to-end order to cash and procure to pay workflows.
Integrations were established between SAP S/4 HANA and the companys manufacturing and logistics operations to harmonize inventory, billing and distribution processes across multiple sites. Master data functions and business intelligence were instrumented within the S/4 HANA environment to standardize product, customer and vendor records and to feed operational reporting across regions.
Governance and operational ownership were centralized under the Group Digital and IT leadership, which led standardised infrastructure, master data governance, service desk modernization and business intelligence rollout. The implementation emphasized cross-functional process standardization and system alignment for finance, supply chain and commercial teams, with staged rollouts and centralized governance to maintain consistency across ATA Group sites.

In 2016, ATA Group implemented SAP S/4 HANA Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR) as part of an on premise SAP S/4 HANA 1511 SP3 deployment. The implementation was the first S4 HANA implementation in Ireland and extended across manufacturing and distribution sites in Ireland, the U.K. and the USA.
The SAP S/4 HANA Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR) deployment targeted Credit Union Management use cases within the finance organization, with configuration focused on credit scoring, exposure monitoring, centralized credit limit management and automated credit checks tied into accounts receivable workflows. Core modules and capabilities implemented included Finance, Financial Supply Chain Management FSCM and Controlling, with the credit management component implemented to orchestrate credit decisions and exposure controls.
Architecturally the solution was deployed on premise on S4 HANA 1511 SP3, with credit management processes instrumented into order to cash and billing processes used across manufacturing and distribution operations. Integration points emphasized master data alignment and accounts receivable, and the implementation used standard SAP finance and FSCM functional interfaces to ensure credit limits and exposure were enforced at invoicing and order entry.
The project timeframe ran Jan 2016 to Jan 2017, and the SAP FICO Consultant role carried responsibility for design and implementation across Finance, FSCM and Controlling modules. Governance workstreams included centralizing credit controls and aligning finance process workflows across Ireland, the U.K. and the USA to support consistent Credit Union Management practices using SAP S/4 HANA Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR).
