In 2018, Atasay Jewelry implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform. The program ran in parallel with a SAP Hybris project and focused on centralizing and standardizing finance processes across the company’s retail operations in Turkey.
Implementation concentrated on core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting and controlling, with configuration to support Turkish statutory reporting and structured period close processes. Work included master data harmonization for chart of accounts and vendor and customer masters, and automation of period end workflows and intercompany accounting to align retail transactions with corporate finance.
Architecturally, the deployment integrated SAP S/4 HANA with the SAP Hybris commerce layer to align order to cash flows, pricing and invoice handoffs, preserving a single financial master data set across commerce and back office. Integration leveraged standard SAP interface patterns to exchange transactional and master data, enabling reconciled financial posting from commerce-driven sales events.
Operational scope covered finance, accounting, procurement and store financial reconciliation, with role based security and centralized governance for master data and period close ownership. The rollout emphasized process standardization for financial reporting and controls and included end user training to embed SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial workflows into daily operations.
