In 2019, Athas Capital Group implemented DocMagic IDP as part of an Intelligent Document Processing deployment to support loan closing, funding, and compliance workflows. The rollout targeted the firm s lending operations including loan processors, closing officers, title coordination, and funding teams across the United States.
DocMagic IDP was configured to ingest and classify mortgage and consumer loan documents including initial disclosures, closing disclosures CD TRID, purchase contracts, escrow instructions, appraisal reports, title policies, and closing statements. The implementation emphasized OCR based data extraction, document classification, field level data validation, automated population of disclosure and closing packages, signature routing, and document indexing to support tasks such as reviewing PTF conditions, verifying payoffs and fees, and sourcing of funds analysis.
Integrations were implemented with LendingQB to surface loan context and decisioning data, with the L drive for persistent document storage, and with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to enable template population, spreadsheet analysis, and email communications with title officers, attorneys, and warehouse lenders. DocMagic IDP was used to centralize document capture and to link extracted data back into lending workflows without altering the firm s existing file storage and office productivity tools.
Governance and process controls were established through structured review queues, PTF condition workflows, and approval routing to ensure conditions were satisfied prior to funding. The system supported audit trails for disclosure delivery and signature capture, automated notifications to external parties, and documented handoffs to allow processors to prepare funding wire transfers and to send funding requests to assigned warehouse lenders.
