UKG Legacy UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper) Time and Attendance HCM n/a 2014 2014
In 2014 Atrius Health deployed UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper) as its Time and Attendance solution to centralize timekeeping for the Clinical Applications group. The individual supporting the Associate CIO for Clinical Applications acted as the departmental timekeeper, managing timecard submissions, approvals, and daily time capture responsibilities for Clinical Applications staff while also coordinating meeting logistics and serving as a gatekeeper for executive scheduling. UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper was used to administer administrator level timekeeper functions typical of Time and Attendance systems, including timecard management, schedule-based attendance records, and the collection and distribution of paper documentation. Operational coverage extended beyond core timekeeping to include managed calendars, scheduling conference rooms, reception desk duties, visitor management, telephone handling, ordering office and break room supplies, processing incoming invoices, assisting staff with parking and fob coordination, and reporting facilities issues to building management, with governance organized around a single departmental timekeeper model for Clinical Applications.

Epic Systems Legacy EPIC EHR Electronic Health Record ERP Services and Operations n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, Atrius Health implemented EPIC EHR to centralize patient records and support clinical operations within its Electronic Health Record environment. The implementation included a high-volume data entry project that accurately transferred 80,000 patient medical records into EPIC EHR, and operational activities ran across clinical sites including Wellesley, MA and analytic functions based in Boston, MA. The EPIC EHR deployment covered standard Electronic Health Record modules and workflows such as clinical documentation, order management, patient scheduling, medication refill processing, and phone triage. Operational configuration included organized processing and filing for physician orders and scheduling workflows, which directly supported front desk and medical secretary responsibilities. Reporting and analytics were implemented alongside EPIC EHR, with explicit use of the Epic Clarity data model to query 20 plus years of longitudinal patient data. These analytics capabilities supported IRB approved protocols, quality improvement projects, and organizational initiatives, with queries translated into SQL against the Clarity schema and iterative handoffs to investigators and stakeholders. Governance and operational ownership resided within clinical operations and the Atrius Health Academic Institute analytics team, which took full ownership of the analytics lifecycle including requirements gathering, data extraction, cleaning, exploratory analysis, and stakeholder presentation. Outcomes documented during rollout included the accurate ingestion of 80,000 records and an organized physician order processing system that decreased patient scheduling wait time, and ongoing analytics support for research and quality improvement initiatives.

Epic Systems Legacy Epic Clarity Data Warehouse Analytics and BI n/a 2018 2018
In 2018 Atrius Health implemented Epic Clarity, a Data Warehouse from Epic Systems to surface 20+ years of longitudinal patient data for analytics. The deployment at Atrius Health Academic Institute in Boston expanded structured access to clinical data to support IRB approved protocols, quality improvement projects, and broader organizational analytics initiatives. Epic Clarity was configured to expose the Epic Clarity data model and support SQL based extraction and reporting workflows, enabling a Data Analyst III and other analytics staff to translate investigator requirements into queryable datasets. Functional activity documented against the system includes data extraction, cleaning, wrangling, exploratory analysis, and preparation of datasets for potential model build and evaluation, reflecting core Data Warehouse operations and ETL oriented workflows. The implementation integrates Epic Clarity with the Epic EHR source system to centralize longitudinal clinical records and provide investigators with consolidated schema level access. Operational coverage specifically includes research and quality teams, with internal and external investigators collaborating on population definition, intervention and outcome specification and iterative analysis using SQL queries against the Epic Clarity data model. Governance is executed by analytics personnel who own the end to end analytics lifecycle, including requirements gathering, data extraction and transformation, iterative analysis, and analytic handoff for downstream reporting or model development. Epic Clarity serves as the primary Data Warehouse for clinical analytics at Atrius Health, providing structured, SQL based access to clinical datasets for IRB approved research and quality improvement work.
