In 2014, Attends Healthcare UK implemented the Oracle ASCP Module for Advanced Planning and Scheduling to unify cross‑border planning activities. The project was executed as part of Attends Healthcare Group operations within the Domtar Personal Care business, with a stated objective to integrate demand planning and supply chain processes from Germany, the UK, and Belgium into a manufacturing site in Aneby, Sweden, and Inspirage served as the implementation partner.
The implementation used Oracle ASCP Module release 12 and focused on core Advanced Planning and Scheduling capabilities, including constraint based supply planning, production scheduling, ATP and pegging logic, and demand and supply reconciliation. Configuration emphasized multi site planning models and rule sets to support synchronized scheduling at the Swedish manufacturing site and aligned demand inputs from three European markets.
Architecturally the solution was deployed as a centralized ASCP instance coordinating regional planning inputs, integrating European country demand planning processes with the Aneby manufacturing scheduling layer and operational supply chain workflows. The deployment scope covered supply chain and planning functions across Germany, the UK, and Belgium, and extended to production scheduling at the Sweden site, reflecting a regional planning to manufacturing topology.
Governance was structured under a designated project manager responsible for the release 12 implementation, with Inspirage providing systems integration and implementation services. The rollout approach emphasized phased alignment of planning governance and standardized supply chain processes across the three countries and the manufacturing site.
