In 2018, Aurrum implemented Xero Online Invoicing to support AP Automation across its Accounts Payable function within the Aurrum Aged Care business unit. The deployment was executed during a short term accounts payable engagement covering January 2018 to March 2018, with the Senior Accounts Payable Officer operating day to day within the cloud Xero environment to process invoices and payments.
Xero Online Invoicing was configured to handle core AP workflows, including matching purchase orders to vendor invoices, GL coding of supplier invoices, processing scheduled and ad hoc vendor payments, and executing EFT transfers and cheque payments. The implementation covered invoice processing through the Xero Online Invoicing interface, vendor statement reconciliations, petty cash transaction recording and banking, and activity supporting month end accruals and cash flow forecasting.
Operationally the solution ran as a cloud-hosted application used by the finance and accounts payable teams, supporting interactions with vendors and internal stakeholders for query resolution and payment confirmations. Xero Online Invoicing functioned as the transactional ledger for accounts payable activity during the engagement, with all invoice capture, payment runs and reconciliations performed inside the application.
Governance emphasis focused on compliance with accounting rules and audit controls, documentation of AP processes, participation in audit activities, and timely vendor response protocols. The engagement explicitly included identification and reporting of process improvement opportunities and assistance in implementing process changes, reinforcing controls around invoice purchase order compliance and month end accounts payable procedures.

Configuration emphasized career site integration and candidate experience controls, with PageUp ATS configured to present branded job listings and application forms on the Aurrum website.
Integrations and operational coverage centered on the public career site and internal HR processes, with PageUp ATS serving as the system of record for candidate data and recruitment workflow orchestration. Governance was structured to centralize recruiting policies and approval steps, with role based access and structured hiring stages configured in PageUp ATS to align HR, hiring managers, and recruitment operations.

In 2015, Aurrum deployed Health Metrics eCase for Home Care Management to support its Living Life person centred care model and the organisation's clinical and corporate governance framework. The implementation was cited in Aurrum governance materials as the leading clinical IT system used to standardize clinical documentation and to underpin the Quality Clinical Governance Committee oversight.
The Health Metrics eCase implementation encompassed electronic clinical records, individualized care planning, structured assessment workflows, medication management, scheduling and rostering, incident and audit logging, and regulatory reporting capabilities. Configuration emphasized care planning and activity tracking to align with Aurrum’s memory support program based on Montessori principles, including documentation for serenity hour and meaningful activities.
Operationally the deployment covered clinical teams, corporate governance functions, lifestyle and allied health coordination, and front of house hotel services to maintain a unified resident record across care, lifestyle, and amenities. The system centralized care plans, consent records, and clinical notes to support care partnerships with residents and family members and to ensure consistent documentation across in house clinical and allied health services.
Governance and rollout were organized around the Quality Clinical Governance Committee using Health Metrics eCase as the primary tool for oversight, quality assurance, and ongoing performance assessment, with workflows adjusted to eCase centered processes and documentation standards. Training and continuous development were integrated into operational rollout to align staff competency with electronic care planning and compliance requirements.
