In 2016 Avast implemented BigML as part of its analytics and data science tooling. BigML is used by Avast within the ML and Data Science Platforms category to lower barriers to machine learning and to enable analysts, software developers, and data scientists to build end to end predictive workflows.
The implementation focused on core platform capabilities typical of ML and Data Science Platforms, including dataset preparation, feature engineering, supervised model training, model evaluation, model export and model deployment workflows. Avast configured BigML to support automated model pipelines and repeatable experiments, leveraging the platform's programmatic interfaces and orchestration features to standardize model creation and validation processes.
Operational ownership rested with Avast data science and analytics teams and extended into product and security analytics functions, with a phased adoption approach across teams in 2016. Governance centered on model lifecycle management, controlled access and role based permissions, and process changes to embed machine learning workflows into existing analytics operations.

| Cisco Systems | Legacy | Cisco Webex Meetings | Audio Video and Web Conferencing | Collaboration | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Avast deployed Cisco Webex Meetings as its Audio Video and Web Conferencing solution, embedding Cisco Webex Meetings into its public website to enable customer-facing sessions directly from Avast.com. The implementation supported both external engagement and internal collaboration for the 1750-employee professional services organization.
Configuration focused on core Cisco Webex Meetings capabilities, including scheduled and ad hoc video conferencing, screen sharing, meeting recording, host controls and participant moderation, along with meeting templates and reporting. Administration included license and host provisioning to align meeting templates with business use cases.
The deployment integrated Webex meeting entry points into the Avast website to surface customer-facing sessions, and it aligned with internal scheduling workflows to coordinate sessions across product, support and marketing teams. Architecturally the solution followed a cloud-hosted conferencing model with browser-based access and native clients, consistent with Audio Video and Web Conferencing best practices.
Governance introduced centralized meeting policies, access control and administrator provisioning to manage external sessions and internal meeting hygiene, while scheduling and moderation workflows were adjusted to support customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
