In 2012 Aviva India implemented Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS Version R12 to provide Core HR and Payroll capabilities for its Aviva Central Services organization. The Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS deployment focused on establishing a single system of record for employee master data and payroll processing, aligning the platform with HR administrative and payroll business functions.
Configuration work centered on Core HR and Payroll modules, including employee records and position management, organization structures, payroll calculation rules, and standard HR reporting. The implementation included workflows and configuration consistent with Core HR applications, such as approvals for hiring and position changes, and payroll run orchestration and statutory pay element configuration aligned to the India payroll context.
Source notes do not list named system integrations, therefore no specific interfacing architecture can be asserted from the record. Operational ownership included a Test Lead role for one year followed by a Project Lead managing a team of 12, indicating centralized project governance within HR and payroll domains and coordination with the customer organization.
Governance and rollout practices emphasized requirements freeze based on client input, internal audit readiness with timely artifact delivery and no nonconformance reports, and delivery of monthly statistical reports to the customer. The project narrative documents test leadership, project leadership, requirement stabilization, and audit-driven artifacts as primary controls used during the Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS implementation for Core HR.
