In 2020, Avocadostore implemented Xentral ERP for eCommerce as an ERP Financial deployment by building a dedicated order import solution to bring marketplace orders into Xentral. Order takeover had been performed manually and Avocadostore is developing an API which will take time, so the new import solution provides a bridge to transfer orders generated on the Avocadostore marketplace into Xentral ERP for eCommerce. Transfer of stock numbers and tracking numbers from Xentral to Avocadostore was already in place, and the reverse flow for customer orders into Xentral is now operational. The solution is scheduled for live testing with the first three customers next week and will then be made available to additional sellers.
The implementation is structured around an order import connector and mapping layer integrated with Xentral order management and inventory modules, implementing field mappings for SKUs, customer information, order lines, and shipment references consistent with ERP Financial workflows. Integration is designed to accept inbound marketplace order payloads alongside the existing outbound synchronization of stock numbers and tracking numbers, populating Xentral sales orders and inventory reservations. Operational scope for the pilot includes merchants using Avocadostore as a sales channel and impacts order-to-cash, inventory control, fulfillment, and customer service processes. Rollout governance follows a phased pilot with live testing of three customers prior to broader availability.
