Oxalys Legacy Oxalys Source to Pay Source to Pay Procurement n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Axian Group implemented Oxalys Source to Pay, a Source to Pay application, to centralise procurement across its 25 subsidiaries. The deployment began with a pilot in March 2018 and was rolled out to additional subsidiaries as part of a phased adoption plan. The implementation encompassed Source-to-Contract, a supplier portal, supplier evaluation and invoice dematerialisation to dematerialise the full procurement to pay chain. Functional workflows emphasized supplier onboarding and qualification, contract lifecycle management and electronic invoice capture and matching, aligning with standard Source to Pay capabilities. Operational coverage spanned procurement, supplier management and finance teams across the pan African group, with the platform serving as a central procurement hub for 25 subsidiaries. Integrations with named back office systems were not specified in the case study, the focus remained on consolidating supplier data and procurement processes within Oxalys Source to Pay. Governance was structured around a centralised procurement approach, standardised supplier evaluation criteria and staged rollouts from the March 2018 pilot to additional entities. The project objective as stated was to increase transparency and productivity across the group through centralised supplier management and invoice dematerialisation.
