In 2017, Bajaj Auto implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its accounting software. SAP S/4 HANA is deployed as the primary ERP Financial application supporting accounting and financial transaction recording across Bajaj Auto. The deployment is used to record all relevant financial transactions through the application at BAL and leverages standard ERP Financial functionality for structured financial postings and persistent system-level logging. The implementation centers on core accounting workflows and record keeping rather than on bespoke extensions.
SAP S/4 HANA provides an audit trail that logs all changed data and ensures traceability for financial entries, with this audit trail feature operational throughout the year for transactions recorded in the system at Bajaj Auto. The continuous logging and standard functionality within SAP S/4 HANA supply system-level governance over changed data, reinforcing accounting controls and transaction traceability across the finance function. The configuration emphasizes standardized change history capture and transactional integrity within the SAP S/4 HANA application.
