In 2023 Bank of Hawaii implemented Oracle Cloud HCM to centralize Core HR capabilities and redesign the employee lifecycle experience. Bank of Hawaii received the Oracle Cloud HCM HR Heroes Award 2023 "Cultivate Award" for thoughtful focus and design of the employee experience, recognizing efforts to support employees from hire through career growth and critical life events.
The Oracle Cloud HCM deployment concentrated on Core HR functionality including employee records and HR transactions, onboarding flows, career and talent profile management, benefits and life event support, and configurable business rules to tailor touchpoints across the employee journey. Configuration efforts emphasized role based security, workforce data model consolidation, and user experience design to create intuitive HR service workflows within Oracle Cloud HCM.
Operational governance was reorganized to align HR process ownership with the new Core HR system, standardizing workflows across HR, talent and benefits teams and instituting centralized stewardship for employee lifecycle events. Those governance and process changes supported the tailored employee experiences cited by the Cultivate Award, positioning Oracle Cloud HCM as the core HR system underpinning Bank of Hawaii human resources functions.

MicroStrategy ONE Analytics was configured on a CIM platform hosted on Teradata, with deployments focused on enterprise-grade reporting, interactive dashboards, and SQL-driven ad hoc analysis. Functional workstreams included report and dashboard development, dataset modeling, and reuse of existing Business Intelligence artifacts to accelerate delivery.
Data and tooling workstreams referenced SQL-based sourcing with Oracle SQL Developer and Teradata, data staging and governance touchpoints with IBM InfoSphere, and artifact reconciliation with SAP BusinessObjects Deski and Webi XI. Collaboration and project controls were managed through Microsoft SharePoint and CA Clarity, and development activities also leveraged Microsoft Excel, FIS products, and Benthic for data preparation and analysis.
The implementation was executed by a multidisciplinary BI and marketing analytics team responsible for onboarding the marketing campaign application onto the MicroStrategy and CIM platform, aligning reporting workflows, and establishing development and governance practices for ongoing analytics operations.
