The MES to SAP ERP ECC 6.0 integration enabled operational sequencing for extrusion, assembly, and high volume blending systems and synchronized plant scheduling with enterprise inventory and purchasing information.
Governance and operational ownership rested with the Controls Engineering Group, with the Controls Engineering Manager overseeing MES operation, integration maintenance, and continuous improvement projects.
