In 2011, Bausch + Lomb implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP. The ERP Financial implementation was executed alongside responsibility for Revitas Flex, also referenced as the ContractSphere Revenue Management System, to centralize revenue and contract processes for the organization.
The Revitas Flex / ContractSphere deployment included Contract Management, Chargebacks and Rebates, and Government Pricing modules. The team also provided ongoing support for the Revitas Medicaid Classic system, handling configuration, business rules enforcement and revenue management workflows.
A maintained interface synchronized contract and revenue transactions between the Revitas systems and Oracle PeopleSoft ERP, ensuring revenue events and chargeback calculations flowed into the PeopleSoft financial ledger and fed supply chain chargeback processes. The implementation functioned as the systems linkage to global PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain System and Human Capital Management System, with Oracle PeopleSoft ERP serving as the enterprise financial record.
Operational governance centered on a liaison role to offshore teams supporting global PeopleSoft modules, coordinating integration touchpoints, release activities and issue triage. The engagement emphasized integrating revenue management workflows into ERP Financial processes and sustaining cross-functional support across finance, supply chain and human resources systems.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle PeopleSoft HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2004 | 2017 |
Bausch + Lomb implemented Oracle PeopleSoft HCM in 2004 as the company’s Core HR platform, deploying the Global PeopleSoft HR module to support approximately 10,000 employees. The implementation centered on core human resources capabilities and was positioned to centralize HR recordkeeping, workforce administration, and employee lifecycle management under Oracle PeopleSoft HCM.
The deployment included explicit functional workstreams for HR, Compensation, Benefits and Health/Safety, guided by structured design sessions and formal change control meetings. Technical teams directed configuration and modularization within the Oracle PeopleSoft HCM environment, and the project incorporated customization of SQRs, Queries and Crystal reports to satisfy reporting and data extraction requirements.
Integrations and complementary tools were built to extend PeopleSoft functionality, including joint design of IVR and web pages with the benefits vendor, and the creation of software artifacts using Excel, Access, Visual Basic, Query and SQL/SQR to support data interfaces and process automation. Operational coverage was global and focused on HR, compensation and benefits business functions, with the application and supporting tools serving the company’s employee population and benefits administration workflows.
Governance emphasized technical direction and process control, with directed technical teams running design sessions, change control meetings and end user training. The team reengineered the open enrollment process as part of the rollout, improving testing efficiency and reducing labor hours by 50 percent while eliminating rollout errors, and trained end users on the new Oracle PeopleSoft HCM applications and adjunct tools.
From an operational architecture perspective the implementation combined PeopleSoft application configuration, custom reporting and lightweight auxiliary applications to bridge data and process gaps, creating a blended environment for Core HR operations. Bausch + Lomb Oracle PeopleSoft HCM supported centralized HR, compensation and benefits administration, with governance practices and reporting customizations embedded to sustain ongoing operations.

The implementation used the Salesforce Chat widget on site, configured for agent handoff, canned responses, and transcript capture to support follow-up workflows and operational tracking. Functionally the deployment focused on customer service and digital engagement, with the chat UI running in-browser and agent interactions managed through the Salesforce Chat console, enabling session routing, presence management, and conversational logging for downstream service processes.
